A technology specialist offered a role with a Malta-based employer needed both an EU Blue Card and a family reunification pathway for a spouse and two children, on a timeline set by the employer's own start date. The family had not previously navigated an EU immigration process and were unfamiliar with the certified-document requirements involved.
We ran the Blue Card application and the family reunification applications in parallel rather than sequentially, coordinating certified translations and apostilled civil documents so that a mismatch on one form did not restart the clock on another, a common cause of delay we see in applications prepared without that coordination.
All four family members received approval in time for the employer's start date, with the children enrolled in school before the family's planned relocation month.
