Crownstone Resolves $22M Charterparty Dispute Through DIFC-LCIA Arbitration

Crownstone Advocates has successfully resolved a $22 million charterparty dispute involving a bulk carrier flagged under Malta's ship registry, securing settlement for the client following a vessel arrest and subsequent DIFC-LCIA arbitration proceedings.

The matter required moving quickly to arrest the vessel to secure the client's position, followed by a coordinated arbitration strategy under DIFC-LCIA rules that ultimately delivered a settlement without the need for a full arbitral hearing on the merits.
